The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luís Fábio Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Virgílio Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Coutinho's late challenge caught a Leripe Lifestyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Paulo Nogueira in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Cardoso saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. Virgílio Diniz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. João Pedro Goiano hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgílio Diniz in the 74th minute.
