Atlético de Blumenau's Zé Pedro Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Leo Junior. Laércio Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Duarte went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Duarte came free, but Laércio Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Atlético de Blumenau got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Barros. A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leo Junior hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Atlético de Blumenau got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Carvalho in the 47th minute of play forced Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Laércio Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Simão Duarte made the kick off in the second half. If Arthur Zico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Leripe Lifestyle's Laércio Britto got control of the ball when Simão Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duarte do Valle's late challenge caught a Leripe Lifestyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Blumenau's Duarte do Valle got a free kick in the 70th minute. Régis Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Simão Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Nogueira couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlético de Blumenau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
