Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gildo Corrêa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Laércio Britto was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Luís Paulo Nogueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Paulo Nogueira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 9th minute, New Loser FC's Gildo Corrêa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laércio Britto. Laércio Britto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gildo Corrêa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laércio Britto came out and tried to block the shot, but Gildo Corrêa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 12th minute. With his leg Laércio Britto managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when New Loser FC's Virgílio Diniz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Arthur Zico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arthur Zico hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubinho Nogueira in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Magno Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Loser FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bebeto Penha during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laércio Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's Leo Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseu Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Vidal came free, but Laércio Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Gildo Corrêa made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Britto. Leripe Lifestyle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Nogueira in the 78th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aírton Quirino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Aírton Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leripe Lifestyle made a substitution. Zé Carlos replaced Jacinto Toledo. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Aírton Quirino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Virgílio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Virgílio Diniz hit a great ball. Magno Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio Britto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
