The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaltino Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Falcão Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Ribeiro scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Santos Borré, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Celso Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SÃO JORGE FC™®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Falcão Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SÃO JORGE FC™®'s Isaltino Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Pacui's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Hoffmann came free, but Falcão Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Falcão Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÃO JORGE FC™®. Falcão Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pacui's Falcão Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Hoffmann in the 36th minute of play. Gerson Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Falcão Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaltino Hoffmann made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SÃO JORGE FC™®'s Armandinho Pirani got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Luís Paulo Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes, Zé Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacui and the SÃO JORGE FC™® players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Pacui got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ribeiro. Teodoro Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Falcão Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Celso Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Santos Borré showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zé Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Falcão Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Hoffmann in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Madureira got free with Falcão Favoretto in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Teodoro Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pacui defense, Isaltino Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Favoretto. The Pacui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Favoretto should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Vander during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SÃO JORGE FC™® booed when Pacui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 98th minute.
