Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Tião Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tião Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Frederico de Salles made a huge save. With a little luck, Barbie Doll United U23's Frederico de Salles got control of the ball when Kléber Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Róbson Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Gaúcho in the 30th minute of play. Alan Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Olympique Deleon booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fábio Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléber Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Mathias Rossi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frederico de Salles came out and tried to block the shot, but Mathias Rossi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Gaúcho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Rossi in the 53rd minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Frederico de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Melo in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Melo in the 60th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Frederico de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Mathias Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Melo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Olympique Deleon's Luís Fábio Travassos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. Frederico de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Ronaldão Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Frederico de Salles. Barbie Doll United U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Tião Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barbie Doll United U23 booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Olympique Deleon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
