In the 5th minute Tarcisio Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Cordeiro in the 9th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Wilton Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Carlos França scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmílson de Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Percy Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Cordeiro in the 14th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Wilton Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Fernando Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bizard FC booed when Florão da América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Cordeiro came free, but Wilton Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Lara hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Valério Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Leonardo Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Bizard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Tarcisio Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bizard FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmílson de Lara came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Bizard FC's Zé Carlos França. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Bizard FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Valério Moraes hit a great ball. Fernando Massa took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmílson de Lara. Edmílson de Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Bizard FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edmílson de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Carlos de Lara during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florão da América's Edmílson de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Florão da América from getting a goal against them. Edmílson de Lara was a little too slow when Zé Carlos França got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-5. 76 minutes into the match, Florão da América's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Maia came free, but Edmílson de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Henrique Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Fernando Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmílson de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Victor Lara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bizard FC defense, Leonardo Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilton Linhares. The Bizard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilton Linhares should have stopped the shot.
