Carlinhos Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, João Augusto Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. TaTeRo Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tião de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Andrézinho Abreu was in a good position and ended up with the ball after TaTeRo Boys's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, TaTeRo Boys's Andrézinho Abreu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Carlinhos Berger came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Tião de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Tião de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Carlinhos Berger made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tião de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. Carlinhos Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião de Medeiros got free with Carlinhos Berger in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrézinho Abreu made a kick off. A collision led to TaTeRo Boys getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Joel Mattos hit a great ball. Carlinhos Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Soeiro in the 61st minute of the match. Carlinhos Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
