FPRMZ's Wilian Sá made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarbas Vinhas's late challenge caught a Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilian Sá got free with Luiz Eger in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tarcisio Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Tarcisio Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Roger Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Ramalho in the 34th minute of play. Luiz Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Novaes in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Luiz Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Mandrak in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Tiaguinho Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Luiz Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Kauan Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ the free kick. In the 68th minute, Kauan Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Novaes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Eger. Luiz Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Christian Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Cardozo's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cardozo in the 87th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Eusébio Ramalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Carneiro. Eusébio Ramalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montesclarense E.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ.
