Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvério Barral started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Silvério Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gilson Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvério Barral's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Silvério Barral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gilson Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18thth minute of the game Silvério Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Gilson Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmo Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Giuseppe da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe da Costa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Barral in the 23rd minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Barral came free, but Gilson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Giuseppe da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilson Arósio. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Vito Luz got a free kick in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Silvério Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson Arósio was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Gilson Arósio came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Silvério Barral. But to his dismay, Silvério Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naldo de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Silvério Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Matos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gugu Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gugu Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilson Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Barral in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Gugu Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Vito Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Pombal 2003 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Luz to maneuver through the defense. Gilson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes, Rodolfo de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pombal 2003 F.C. and the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Gilson Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Barral in the 82nd minute of play. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Gugu Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Gilson Arósio got control of the ball when Ruy Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
