Zézinho Passos's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho Passos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC's Zézinho Passos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eriberto Vidal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 25th playminute. Adilson Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Eriberto Vidal sent off a good shot on target. Renan Quirino succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Eriberto Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Adilson Palmeira made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's goalkeeper Adilson Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Vidal. Renan Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Nilson da Rocha. Adilson Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Soares in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupere FC the free kick.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Bastos in the 51st minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Quirino couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Soares came free, but Adilson Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Renan Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ronaldo Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Renan Quirino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronaldo Sampaio. That made the score 2-4 in the 74 minute of play. Lupere FC's Adilson Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Teles in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Queirós. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Teles in the 84th minute of play forced Lupere FC's goalkeeper Adilson Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC's Fernandinho Valle got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Barcellos Mineiro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lupere FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Lupere FC.
