Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilmar de Carvalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Warren FC - DMZ's Roberto Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Grêmio Meia Praia booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Emílio Rezende tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Glauco Mota saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute Emílio Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warren FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glauco de Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Meia Praia's players had a chance to rest. Grêmio Meia Praia's Manfredo Tande was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Glauco Mota in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Glauco Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Rezende in the 29th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Gilmar de Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warren FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar de Carvalho in the 41st minute of play forced Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Eduardo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Gomes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar de Carvalho in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emílio Rezende made a kick off. In the 56th minute Pedro Luiz Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Grêmio Meia Praia's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Sabóia came free, but Eduardo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Grêmio Meia Praia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erivaldo de Mendonça took the corner. Emílio Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Warren FC - DMZ's Erivaldo de Mendonça shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eduardo de Amorim but with some difficulty. Roberto Sabóia spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Grêmio Meia Praia's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar de Carvalho in the 69th minute of play forced Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Eduardo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Silas Vergílio. In the 75th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Lucas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Donato in the 77th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Eduardo de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Sabóia. Warren FC - DMZ's Glauco Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Rezende in the 85th minute of play. Dorian Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Emílio Rezende notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Warren FC - DMZ's Glauco Mota. Glauco Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Grêmio Meia Praia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Warren FC - DMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Warren FC - DMZ.
