When Elias Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Sarmento couldn't finish the play. Almir Furlan's late challenge caught a SE Tijolo 6 Furos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corinthians's Sandro de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Vinhas in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Moura in the 7th minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Sandro de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Moura came free, but Sandro de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Corinthians's Sandro de Senna got control of the ball when Iuri Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians the free kick. Sandro de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sidney Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Moura in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sandro de Senna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Corinthians's Edson Montenegro in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 52nd minute of the match SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a corner. Corinthians's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. SE Tijolo 6 Furos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Corinthians for a fine match.
