Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, CRISDIELDAN's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Motta came free, but Bernardo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Adolfo Moreira during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's João Adolfo Moreira got a free kick in the 24th minute. Leandro Trancoso hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. CRISDIELDAN's Claudinei Donato quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vítor Loyola, made in the 35th minute of the game. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Christian Moreno hit a great ball. Jairo Motta struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bernardo Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás Esporte Clube. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilson Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Wellington Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Moreno in the 65th minute of play forced CRISDIELDAN's goalkeeper Bernardo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christian Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Christian Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Christian Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, CRISDIELDAN's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Vides came free, but Bernardo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, CRISDIELDAN's Leandro Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Pernambucano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Christian Carioca hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The CRISDIELDAN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CRISDIELDAN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
