Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Álvaro Barbosa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Futuros FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Cerezo. Váldson de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Galvão in the 26th minute of the match. When Arnaldo Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futuros FC's protests and gave Arnaldo Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Benê Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Naldo Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, João Vítor Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Futuros FC's João Vítor Galvão in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Naldo Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Barbosa in the 45th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Váldson de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benê Sabóia to make the kick off. Benê Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perivaldo Maciel hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Váldson de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Barbosa in the 63rd minute of the match. Váldson de Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Álvaro Barbosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. In the 70th minute Pedro Augusto Baptista suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Zé Valle was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Futuros FC made a substitution. Adilson Toledo replaced Pedro Augusto Baptista. Váldson de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Barbosa in the 74th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Váldson de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Váldson de Queirós got control of the ball when João Vítor Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Vítor Galvão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 86th playminute. In the 88th minute, Futuros FC's Arnaldo Salgado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Váldson de Queirós. Váldson de Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Futuros FC's João Vítor Galvão got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A hard shot 97 in the game by João Vítor Galvão from a close distance when the talented Váldson de Queirós managed to make a qualified save. Palmeiras's players were relieved. Futuros FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
