After having played for 15 minutes, Oscar Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jereba 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when Jereba 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Afonso Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dieguinho Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Palmeiras's Váldson de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Moreno in the 31st minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Jereba 4EVER's André Berger made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Váldson de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Paes came free, but Dieguinho Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Váldson de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Berger in the 40th minute of play. Palmeiras's Váldson de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Moreno in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Jereba 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Machado to maneuver through the defense. Váldson de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Berger in the 47th minute of play.

Jereba 4EVER played a much better game than Palmeiras and deserved their victory. The Palmeiras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
