Cláudio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Cláudio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Sá in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Cristiano Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Nelson Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rubens Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Téo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Téo Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 22nd minute Nelson Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Sá in the 23rd minute of play. Téo Mangueira scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Nelson Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando dos Santos in the 34th minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Lauro Gerber notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Sá in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. Nelson Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Soares made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Téo Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Sá in the 54th minute of play. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Pratigipe EC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pratigipe EC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Evandro Mandrak hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Lauro Gerber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Soares skillfully saved the ball. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Viana in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares got control of the ball when Nelson Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelson Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
