The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magno Braga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The long shot by Vivaldo Garcia in the 9th minute really tested José Augusto Falcão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. José Augusto Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandão Maia in the 14th minute of the match. Gil Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Braga having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandão Maia in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Falcão saved União Verde FC from getting behind. José Augusto Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes, Fernandão Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Verde FC and the Milanis E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandão Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio de Medeiros. In the 31st minute of the match Rui Lara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magno Braga skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Paiva in the 32nd minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Magno Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
