João Francisco Luz started the match with the kick off. Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Flavinho Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Secco in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Luz in the 8th minute of play forced Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goalkeeper Flavinho Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Flavinho Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Madureira in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Luz came free, but Flavinho Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gonçalo Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Secco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Flavinho Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Águia de Marabá STAND BY defense, Pedro Luiz Secco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho Abreu. The Águia de Marabá STAND BY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho Abreu should have stopped the shot. Dudu Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Águia de Marabá STAND BY booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Luiz Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when João Francisco Luz sped through Águia de Marabá STAND BY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavinho Abreu. Flavinho Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Francisco Luz's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Pedro Luiz Secco struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Flavinho Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hartmann Futebol Clube. César Trancoso's late challenge caught a Hartmann Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, César Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Gustavo Furlan was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Águia de Marabá STAND BY's zone, João Francisco Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho Abreu came out of the goal and João Francisco Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute of the match, Pedro Luiz Secco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavinho Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. João Francisco Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavinho Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Flavinho Abreu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aloísio Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78thth minute of the game João Francisco Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Flavinho Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amauri de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Abreu having to interfere. Flavinho Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Furlan in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro de Medeiros got free with Flavinho Abreu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Dudu Jacinto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dudu Jacinto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Águia de Marabá STAND BY protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dudu Jacinto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 93rd minute, one of Águia de Marabá STAND BY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Águia de Marabá STAND BY.
