Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Cardozo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when Real Fantasma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Luís Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luís Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Décio de Brito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luiz Fábio Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Júlio Freire hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Luís Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Xurupita FC's Luís Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dudu Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dudu Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Xurupita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Mineiro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Real Fantasma getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Júlio Freire hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Real Fantasma's Davi Saldanha got a free kick in the 41st minute. Luiz Fábio Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco da Silveira's late challenge caught a Real Fantasma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco da Silveira hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Décio de Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fábio Amorim having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Décio de Brito to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's Davi Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fábio Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Adhemar Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Fantasma the free kick. Adhemar Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Arí Mangueira's late challenge caught a Real Fantasma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arí Mangueira helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Arí Mangueira. Franklin Berger made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dudu Mineiro sent off a good shot on target. Luís Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Davi Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Edson Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
