Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernandão Peixoto kicked off to start the match. Ronaldo Meirelles's late challenge caught a ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vila Zumbi - Férias's Ronaldo Meirelles got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Vila Zumbi - Férias's Fernandão Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabinho Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Geovanildo Mendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Almeida's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. A collision led to ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jean Ferraz hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernandão Peixoto came free, but Fabinho Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Romero hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Fernandão Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabinho Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernandão Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Abel Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanildo Mendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ booed when Vila Zumbi - Férias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Carneiro in the 33rd minute of play. Ronaldo Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Sanches having to interfere. Agnaldo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Sanches having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Ferraz made a kick off. Fabinho Sanches came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Zumbi - Férias's Fernandão Peixoto. But to his dismay, Fernandão Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 58th minute, Fernandão Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Elano Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fabinho Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Zumbi - Férias from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elano Coutinho in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabinho Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovanildo Mendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Vila Zumbi - Férias's André Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabinho Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo Amaral went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd match minute, Vila Zumbi - Férias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandão Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Amaral in the 86th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Elano Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Fabinho Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, André Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabinho Sanches. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Vila Zumbi - Férias were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ for a fine match.
