Sílvio Luiz Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Laerte Brasil made a huge save. Laerte Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Valle in the 8th minute. Laerte Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Luiz Cardoso went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Benjamin Dias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. Benjamin Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Isaltino Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the PIRATAS TFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Furtado couldn't finish the play. Waldir Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bayern Lessa - u21 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ademar Saraiva hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Mendonça. In the 25th minute, Pedrão Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. PIRATAS TFP's Laerte Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Valle in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Bayern Lessa - u21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Ademar Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayern Lessa - u21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIRATAS TFP the free kick. Waldir Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Branco in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Alessandro Mendonça got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Cardoso came free, but Laerte Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. Waldir Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Branco in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Branco got free with Waldir Soares in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Baptista. PIRATAS TFP's Isaltino Furtado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Waldir Soares but with some difficulty. Waldir Soares made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Haroldo Branco sent off a good shot on target. Bayern Lessa - u21's Sílvio Luiz Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laerte Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Haroldo Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the PIRATAS TFP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bayern Lessa - u21.
