Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Celsinho Dionísio made the kick off which started today's match. Fernandinho Bastos came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Luiz Baiano. But to his dismay, Luiz Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernandinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuca Gerber's late challenge caught a Brasiliense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Samuca Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Nuno Dantas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandinho Bastos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brasiliense FC's Luiz Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Capixaba in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Ubatuba booed when Brasiliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Pombal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Franklin Martins. After 19 minutes, Lúcio Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasiliense FC and the Ubatuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Lúcio Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Reis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Brasiliense FC's Luiz Pombal got control of the ball when Franklin Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Júlio Lago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandinho Bastos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Celsinho Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ubatuba's Fernandinho Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franklin Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Júlio Lago got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luís Fabiano Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Luiz Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubatuba. Amílton Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Celsinho Dionísio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fernandinho Bastos. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Luiz Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Luiz Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Viana in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Martins came free, but Luiz Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luís Fabiano Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Carneiro's late challenge caught a Ubatuba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Silvério Carneiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Juarês Quirino hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes, Ubatuba's Franklin Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Pombal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ubatuba reached it. In the 72nd match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Quirino to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Capixaba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Luiz Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Fabiano Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Viana came free, but Luiz Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Sidney Viana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Pombal. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Pombal should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Martins in the 89th minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Luiz Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alexandre Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ubatuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Sergipano couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ubatuba fully deserved thier win.
