With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matuzalém Goiano in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júnior Tasso saved Jundiaí -DMZ- from getting behind. After 4 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 5th minute of play forced Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Júnior Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Matuzalém Goiano came free, but Júnior Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Tepedino. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Celsinho Paiva hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Rômulo Pena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 30 in the game by Pedro Paulo Paes from a close distance when the talented Júnior Tasso managed to make a qualified save. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s players were relieved. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jundiaí -DMZ-! Júnior Tasso had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Nelsinho Neves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when Jundiaí -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Matuzalém Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Júnior Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Dedé Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. Júnior Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Velloso in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Furtado to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Pena came free, but Raimundo Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Dino Gonçalves put in a rough tackle. Jundiaí -DMZ- made a substitution. Erasmo Faria replaced Gualter Toscano. Jundiaí -DMZ- made a substitution. José Vítor Trancoso replaced Richard Madureira. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jundiaí -DMZ-! Júnior Tasso went to the wrong direction when Nelsinho Neves was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Júnior Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Paes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Raimundo Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Pena went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Dedé Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Ortiz. That made the score 1-3 after 80 minutes of play. Rômulo Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Raimundo Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Favoretto's late challenge caught a Jundiaí -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. Rômulo Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Júnior Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 98th minute of play.
