Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Samuca Barros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute, Didi Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Monteiro in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomás Sarmento during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17thth minute of the game Egídio Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Júnior Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Nova Era's Alfredo Macedo got control of the ball when Dedé Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivo Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jundiaí -DMZ- defense, Egídio Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Tasso. The Jundiaí -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Tasso should have stopped the shot. Júnior Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Samuca Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Rômulo Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Didi Vergílio came free, but Júnior Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Era's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson Fonseca in the 42nd minute of play. Gerson Fonseca's late challenge caught a Nova Era's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nova Era booed when Jundiaí -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egídio Vaz was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes Nova Era's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuca Barros who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Samuca Barros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Macedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Rubens Barrichello was substituted for Gualter Toscano. Jundiaí -DMZ- made a substitution. José Vítor Trancoso replaced Richard Madureira. In the 58th match minute, Jundiaí -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Toscano to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Gildo Viana in the 58th minute really tested Júnior Tasso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 62nd minute, José Vítor Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nova Era's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gildo Viana in the 64th minute. Alfredo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gildo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Tasso having to interfere. Fernandão Cardozo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Didi Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Era's protests and gave Didi Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nova Era's Didi Vergílio got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, Nova Era was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandão Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Berger. Nova Era's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
