Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Guilherme Abud made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilmar Gerber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toninho Pinheiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Igor Souza came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by DENVER™'s Guilherme Abud. But to his dismay, Guilherme Abud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 15 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Vinhas. A collision led to Se7e getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nestor Rezende hit a great ball. If Guilherme Abud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toninho Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilmar Gerber in the 23rd minute. Gilmar Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. If Elói de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Se7e's Igor Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Romero in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Nilmar Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gilmar Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Se7e's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind DENVER™'s goalkeeper Toninho Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute Guilherme Abud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar Freitas scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half DENVER™ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor de Souza was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Freitas in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Gerber in the 56th minute of play. Toninho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Se7e was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Toledo's late challenge caught a DENVER™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. Mauro Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Toninho Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilmar Gerber's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Nilton Netto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gilmar Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. DENVER™'s Toninho Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Gerber in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Se7e booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Se7e's Allan Trevisan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramón Vinhas, made in the 85th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Se7e's goalkeeper Igor Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Abud. Nilmar Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Igor Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The DENVER™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DENVER™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
