Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romário Passos to make the kick off. Edgard Costa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Celsinho de Lara's late challenge caught a Imbituba - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Acácio Ortiz replaced Gui Souza. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Romário Passos sped through Imbituba - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivo Ramalho. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Romário Passos put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ivo Ramalho. After 93 minutes of play Bucéfalo FC's André Moura was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. André Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Jailson Alves came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Imbituba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Alves couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
