An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Marin in the 18th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Camilo Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Urtats in the 20th minute of play forced S4dm F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Remicio hit a great ball. Pedro Honesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Julio Servando notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of S4dm F.C.'s Pedro Honesto. Pedro Honesto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the S4dm F.C. defense, Julio Servando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Honesto. The S4dm F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Honesto should have stopped the shot. After the first half Formentera were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Marin to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Nicholas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Honesto. That made the score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, S4dm F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Nicholas came free, but Pedro Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S4dm F.C.'s Romulo Marin got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Remicio to maneuver through the defense. Formentera's Camilo Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Marin in the 67th minute of play. Pedro Honesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Nicholas in the 68th minute. With a little luck, S4dm F.C.'s Pedro Honesto got control of the ball when Octavio Porfirio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, S4dm F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Porfirio came free, but Pedro Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Honesto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filomeno Nicholas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. Octavio Porfirio charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Porfirio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Marin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Mondragon. Camilo Mondragon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The S4dm F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Formentera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
