Teofilo Timo came out of the goal and Tiburcio Maore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Celestino Fonda made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Timo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celestino Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Teofilo Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Celestino Fonda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Perrando's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Rio Tercero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Leonides Odilon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atletico Chusca's Freddy Gil didn't even have to move. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
