Joaquin Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pablo Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Nayely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Bahía é Carnaval's Alvaro Ishmael made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Galo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the game, Ruben Kelemen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Pablo Teofilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elvio Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Gau in the 21st minute of the match. Diego Hernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Hernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruben Kelemen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Pablo Teofilio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the game, Froilan Gau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Elvio Galo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elvio Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Ishmael in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Melchor Nayely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Galo. Chovet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Nayely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 39 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Ramone. 43 minutes into the match, Chovet's Herminio Abecia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Teofilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elvio Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Teofilio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herminio Abecia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 46 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The wind increased when Alvaro Ishmael made the kick off in the second half. Bahía é Carnaval's Pablo Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Abecia in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Joaquin Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ciriaco Paez hit a great ball. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Chovet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Melchor Nayely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Galo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. In the 68th minute, Herminio Abecia made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Teofilio. Bahía é Carnaval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. In the 71st minute Herminio Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Kelemen in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Ramone during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 76 minutes into the game, Froilan Gau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-7. Elvio Galo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elvio Galo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Ishmael showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-8 in the 81 minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Alvaro Ishmael recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Galo. Alvaro Ishmael showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-9. Herminio Abecia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Teofilio having to make a save. After some careless play in the Bahía é Carnaval defense, Ruben Kelemen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Teofilio. The Bahía é Carnaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Teofilio should have stopped the shot.
