With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Velasco in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Colon saved Kanalla F.C from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Banegas got free with Narciso Rumaldo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Velasco came free, but Carlos Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Velasco in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Gavino Velasco made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kanalla F.C's Carlos Colon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Velasco in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Colon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes, Gavino Velasco made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kanalla F.C's Carlos Colon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavino Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Carlos Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Velasco in the 27th minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Carlos Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Anastasio Transito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reconquistense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kanalla F.C the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Transito to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Velasco in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Velasco came free, but Carlos Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anastasio Transito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. In the 45th minute, Anastasio Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Romulo Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltasar Banegas made a kick off. If Dante Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Dante Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Guillen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Rumaldo having to interfere. The Reconquistense FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
