Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas-Armando Giunta in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Rumaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Sayveon in the 8th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Delmar Orti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Reconquistense FC booed when Sporting de Gijón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Celedonio Kinsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Ubarna came free, but Narciso Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Reconquistense FC's Erasmo Sayveon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Orti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Narciso Rumaldo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Arnoldo Ubarna. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 47th minute Erasmo Sayveon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Orti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sporting de Gijón were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Francisco Gabino replaced Apolo Herrera. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas-Armando Giunta was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Erasmo Sayveon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Orti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Reconquistense FC's Erasmo Sayveon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Rumaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas-Armando Giunta in the 61st minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Erasmo Sayveon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting de Gijón's Delmar Orti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting de Gijón's Delmar Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Sayveon in the 63rd minute of play. Delmar Orti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Sayveon in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Rumaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Ubarna in the 68th minute. Aaron Anselmino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aaron Anselmino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Reconquistense FC's Narciso Rumaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Reconquistense FC from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas-Armando Giunta came free, but Narciso Rumaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Fernado hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting de Gijón's Arnoldo Ubarna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Rumaldo. That made the score 2-3 after 84 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Sayveon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Orti was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Sporting de Gijón's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
