With an all-out effort, United.SF's Roque Montrelle threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alonzo Eguen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Roque Montrelle managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when United.SF's Alonzo Eguen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alonzo Eguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Montrelle having to interfere. Teodoro Bieito hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Victorio Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. United.SF's Delmiro Veto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save United.SF from getting a goal against them. Luisito Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erubiel Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Osvaldo Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, United.SF's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Adrio came free, but Delmiro Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Ursino charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Argon's Melquiades Adrio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmiro Veto. That made the score 1-2 after 85 minutes of play. Delmiro Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Fidel Ixona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmiro Veto. Fidel Ixona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Saul Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Argon getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Saul Lia hit a great ball. The Argon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Argon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
