Pegale De Puntín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A. Korn the free kick. The goalkeeper, Angelo Gergori, was totally fooled by Pegale De Puntín's Prudencio Onofre, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Solustiano got free with Angelo Gergori in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Pegale De Puntín's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Quexal came free, but Francisco Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Sengrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The attack was good, but when Cristo Solustiano in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Anier Quin had several of the A. Korn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Angelo Gergori as he didn't even see the shot coming. Francisco Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Caton in the 23rd minute of the match. Alberto Xabier got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Quexal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Gergori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Onofre in the 90th minute of play. Ricardo Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Paez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aquiles Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pegale De Puntín fans cheered their team off the field, for while A. Korn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
