In the 11th minute of the match, Victorio Cresconio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Domingos Iaki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Abuba Akotonon FC's zone, Victorio Cresconio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Iaki came out of the goal and Victorio Cresconio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Igor Monø hit a great ball. Arturo Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hipolito Piarres ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Monø in the 36th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Domingos Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Cresconio came free, but Domingos Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Victorio Cresconio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Iaki.
