Teobaldo Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Serapio in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Miguel Lartaun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teobaldo Lop, 1-0. With a little luck, Temperley's Teobaldo Lop got control of the ball when Miguel Lartaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Marciano Ishmael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maximo Karmel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Miguel Lartaun could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Teobaldo Lop however easily saved by the left post. Teobaldo Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Apolo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Temperley's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Miguel Lartaun put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teobaldo Lop. In the 32nd minute Marciano Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chamaicó fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Chamaicó's Miguel Lartaun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 42 minutes, Mateo Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Serapio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Guillem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Lop made a huge save. Godfredo Eliazar charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Eliazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Serapio was the one to do the kick off. Marciano Ishmael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Karmel having to interfere. With 67 minutes on the clock, Donato Rosario commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 67 minutes into the game, one of Temperley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teobaldo Lop had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Mateo Serapio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Teobaldo Lop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Lartaun in the 73rd minute of the match. Mateo Serapio's late challenge caught a Temperley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Serapio helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Damian Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Temperley's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Rius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Miguel Lartaun came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Chamaicó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Lartaun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Lartaun in the 94th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Teobaldo Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chamaicó fans cheered their team off the field, for while Temperley had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
