In the 7th minute, Isidoro Ignado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 9 minutes, Ruben Bernat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanacos and the Terremoto Xeneize players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Bernat. Candido Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Jon in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Feliberto Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Terremoto Xeneize's Abel Lawrence shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Meder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Terremoto Xeneize reached it. Hugo Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Terremoto Xeneize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Ignado to maneuver through the defense. Candido Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Charro in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Isidoro Ignado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terremoto Xeneize fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Candido Meder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Ignado went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Bernardino Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Silbestre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Havier in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Jon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Casimiro Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Terremoto Xeneize getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hugo Jon hit a great ball. Ruperto Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Iratze in the 56th minute of play. Guanacos's Candido Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Eliazar in the 60th minute of play. Isaias Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Meder having to interfere. When Isaias Charro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terremoto Xeneize's protests and gave Isaias Charro a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Terremoto Xeneize got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Charro. Braulio Remigio charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Terremoto Xeneize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Remigio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Terremoto Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Iratze came free, but Ruperto Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Jons short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Candido Meder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, Hugo Jon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Candido Meder, 1-4. Candido Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Hugo Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Meder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Jon in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Teobaldo Aimar got a free kick in the 86th minute. Isidoro Ignado might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Meder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Ignado ran back to his position shaking his head. Guanacos's Candido Meder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. Terremoto Xeneize's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
