Jaime Odol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Lizardi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Nestor Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Dalmu in the 12th minute of the match. Filomeno Jeraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nestor Socorro made a huge save. A collision led to La Acade getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Omar Gutierrez hit a great ball. Jaime Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Gaitan in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Rafael Martxot got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Armando Iigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Nestor Socorro made a huge save. Nestor Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Aureliano Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Ivan Leguizamón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tigres Ñacuñán FC! When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, La Acade's Ismael Breogan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jaime Odol. If Eustacio Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Filomeno Jeraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Socorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tigres Ñacuñán FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Acade for a fine match.
