Valentin Jakes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Gaspard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Barrilete Cósmico FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Barrialito AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valentin Jakes took the corner. After 32 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Tallia. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico FC's zone, Jacinto Raitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Mitxaut came out of the goal and Jacinto Raitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Maximo Mirande hit a great ball. Omar Clis charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Clis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Barrilete Cósmico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Erubiel Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Maju in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Anacleto Caradaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrilete Cósmico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrialito AFC the free kick. Anacleto Caradaro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Barrilete Cósmico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Erubiel Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jugala Efraim in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Emanuel Cisco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Cisco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barrilete Cósmico FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Cisco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 68 minutes into the game, one of Barrilete Cósmico FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erubiel Mitxaut had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Nereo Maju's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Barrialito AFC's Nereo Maju nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Mitxaut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 77 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Tallia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Mendebal got free with Paulino Gaspard in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Perico. Barrialito AFC's Paulino Gaspard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Barrialito AFC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barrialito AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentin Jakes was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrilete Cósmico FC's players had a chance to rest. Barrilete Cósmico FC's Anacleto Caradaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulino Gaspard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrilete Cósmico FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrialito AFC.
