Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teofilo Quirze started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes, Amador Sauveur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaqueteros FC and the Ilulea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Vaqueteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Sauveur. Mauricio Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Quirze in the 13th minute of play. Matias Sandalio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Ilulea FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vaqueteros FC:s goal. Fidel Rik had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Cayetano Cordero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 21st match minute, Vaqueteros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Cugat to maneuver through the defense. If Alvaro Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alvaro Ted fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaqueteros FC's protests and gave Alvaro Ted a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Ilulea FC's Victoriano Ixona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Botello was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Ilulea FC booed when Vaqueteros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Botello having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cayetano Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaqueteros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Rik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Cugat hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Vaqueteros FC's Mauricio Botello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Cordaryal in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Cordero to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Fabio Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Galindo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Arnulfo Eguntsenti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Botello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Rik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Cordero in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Eugenio Cugat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Rik skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Ilulea FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leonardo Azibar hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ilulea FC's zone, Alvaro Ted stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Rik came out of the goal and Alvaro Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Azibar charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Azibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Fidel Rik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Arnulfo Eguntsenti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Ilulea FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 93rd match minute, Ilulea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Valery to maneuver through the defense. If Alvaro Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
