Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Brion Abel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Brett Hull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Yebra having to interfere. Nicollao Abad missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 7 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Rene Pouliotte right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Hull in the 10th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Constantino Yebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolás Zárate hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 minutes, Chadwick Hayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Richmond and the Octavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Octavia booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Hull didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Pouliotte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brion Abel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brett Hull in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Yebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brett Hull might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Yebra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brett Hull ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 35 minutes, Xavion Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Octavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavion Abadie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantino Yebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lupe Titus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Yebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lupe Titus in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Rene Pouliotte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Preston Guzman fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Richmond's protests and gave Preston Guzman a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brett Hull to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nicolás Zárate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Octavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Zárate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Pouliotte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th play minute Lupe Titus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Constantino Yebra. 0-1. In the 59th minute, Arnold Pruitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Troncoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Pouliotte having to interfere. Rene Pouliotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benat Abecia in the 72nd minute of play. Lupe Titus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Zárate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Marcos Troncoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Octavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Troncoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes, Berdoi Abellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Octavia and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Berdoi Abellaneda hit a great ball. Brett Hull struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Constantino Yebra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. Rene Pouliotte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavion Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Although Octavia had been in control for most of the match, AFC Richmond still came away with the win.
