Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Libertad came free, but Rodrick Layton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Osorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Fournier went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tiburones Rojos's Venancio Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Fournier in the 10th minute of play. Marco Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tiburones Rojos's Venancio Osorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tiburones Rojos from getting a goal against them. When Evelio Iratxo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiburones Rojos's protests and gave Evelio Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Evelio Iratxo hit a great ball. Marcelo Elia hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lane Berg got free with Venancio Osorio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Fournier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venancio Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Williamson in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Tiburones Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Rodrick Layton made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Josh Williamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.D. With an all-out effort, Tiburones Rojos's Rodrick Layton threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evelio Iratxo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st minute, Joel Libertad had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 81 minutes into the game, Abraham Boyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
