Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octavio Fournier got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Gomez Ayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ursino Valls to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Xavies Hubieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Santiago's Moisés Montoya got control of the ball when Lane Berg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Navarro Valdero came free, but Rodrick Layton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Donovan Hewitt hit a great ball. Rodrick Layton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Navarro Valdero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Santiago's Moisés Montoya got control of the ball when Josh Williamson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo Santiago booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josh Williamson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Xavies Hubieta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrick Layton skillfully saved the ball. When Josh Williamson fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.D. Bajen's protests and gave Josh Williamson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Santiago's Xusto Robles got a free kick in the 41st minute. Lane Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Moisés Montoya made a huge save. When Esterilla Capa came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Deportivo Santiago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esterilla Capa couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Navarro Valdero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrick Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Valdero in the 53rd minute of play. S.D. Bajen's Rodrick Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Valdero in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esterilla Capa in the 58th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Rodrick Layton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's Lane Berg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrick Layton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Valdero, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Navarro Valdero in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrick Layton saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. Rodrick Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Valdero in the 72nd minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Club Deportivo Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Esterilla Capa. In the 87th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavies Hubieta to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Club Deportivo Santiago's Peter Sardaneta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Navarro Valdero in the 94th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Rodrick Layton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
