Darren Carpenter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Illinois Bluewaters's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Gary Gamble scored to the left of an out of position Darren Carpenter, making the score, 1-7. Terrell Tharp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Gary Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. After 94 played minutes Rudy Trotter rounded Illinois Bluewaters's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-8.
