Xencio Revillas took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Yanes. Gaspar Yanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 9th minute when Gustavo Argandona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to NAGANO F.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gonzales Nebot hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ascencio Belon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ubaldo Elguero. That made the score 1-2 in the 15 minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, NAGANO F.C's Gustavo Argandona made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Yanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ascencio Belon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Grau Piura's supporters rose to their feet, but Ascencio Belon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Elguero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Argandona scored 1-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Yanes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Gustavo Argandona notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Atlético Grau Piura's Gaspar Yanes. Gaspar Yanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustavo Argandona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Yanes having to interfere. A collision led to NAGANO F.C getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Xencio Revillas hit a great ball. NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ascencio Belon 50 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isauro Caloca was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Atlético Grau Piura's Isauro Caloca made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atlético Grau Piura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Argandona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. Gonzales Nebot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Yanes having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Argandona got free with Gaspar Yanes in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Oliveiro Sibila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzales Nebot might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Yanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzales Nebot ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xencio Revillas in the 73rd minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Gaspar Yanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzales Nebot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Argandona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Yanes having to interfere. A collision led to Atlético Grau Piura getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Martin Barreda hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzales Nebot came free, but Gaspar Yanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trivniño Meca hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Gustavo Argandona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 99 played minutes Atlético Grau Piura got a freekick which was hit by Kusko Millan.
