Faustino Luke helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San Pablo FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Faustino Luke hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Abilio Rieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abilio Rieta kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Hector Carrizo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the MANIACOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Carrizo couldn't finish the play. Benigno Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abilio Rieta in the 38th minute of the match. Victoriano Feo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Feo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Victoriano Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerold Iturcha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benigno Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abilio Rieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as MANIACOS's Hector Carrizo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Bernaldo. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 54th minute, Ramon Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Blas Ciaño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Bernaldo skillfully saved the ball. Cristobal Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The supporters of MANIACOS booed when San Pablo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Hector Carrizo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MANIACOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Pablo FC the free kick. In the 88th match minute, MANIACOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Carrizo to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes MANIACOS got a freekick which was hit by Peter Limia. Benigno Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abilio Rieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abilio Rieta took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Bernaldo. Benigno Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. San Pablo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
