Paulo Repiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Israel Epulef, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Intimos de Reynoso's Paulo Repiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Israel Epulef in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Intimos de Reynoso's Jonatan Herrador got a free kick in the 8th minute. Paulo Repiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Vidal in the 9th minute of play. Colo-Colo's Salomone Comas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Colo-Colo from getting a goal against them. When Gaitán Urenda fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colo-Colo's protests and gave Gaitán Urenda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitán Urenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Lazaro Guedeja in the 18th minute really tested Salomone Comas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Salomone Comas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavo Arrelucea in the 19th minute of the match. Tavo Arrelucea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gus Arrelucea got free with Salomone Comas in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Salomone Comas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gus Arrelucea. In the 45th match minute, Intimos de Reynoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Curiel to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Vidal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Repiso. Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Vidal in the 47th minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Paulo Repiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenico Báez made a kick off. Paulo Repiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Israel Epulef in the 51st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Tavo Arrelucea came free, but Salomone Comas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Intimos de Reynoso's Gus Arrelucea in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Intimos de Reynoso's Jaen Barrallo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Intimos de Reynoso's Jonatan Herrador suffered a sore thigh after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Salomone Comas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tavo Arrelucea's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Laurín Ibarguen scored 1-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Repiso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colo-Colo's Lois Reveco was substituted for Laurín Ibarguen. 88 minutes into the match, Lucián Berger notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Intimos de Reynoso's Paulo Repiso. Paulo Repiso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sugar Mazuelos in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salomone Comas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Intimos de Reynoso fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Intimos de Reynoso defense, Arturo Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Repiso. The Intimos de Reynoso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Repiso should have stopped the shot.
