Mauro Rubial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Clemente Armani made a huge save. Freddie Henderson succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 31 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Kerns. With a little luck, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani got control of the ball when Martino Otero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mete y Raspa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Pipon Pipon the free kick. After 67 played minutes Mete y Raspa FC got a freekick which was hit by Hitzeder Obiaga. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Devon Izturis hit a great ball. Clemente Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martino Otero in the 74th minute of the match. Clemente Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martino Otero, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Nuno Guitart was a little too slow when Stewart Kerns got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-4. 83 minutes into the match, C. A. Mete y Raspa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Freddie Henderson scored to the left of an out of position Nuno Guitart, making the score, 2-5. 88 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Kelly Hopson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Guitart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pipon Pipon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Pipon Pipon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
