The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Francisco Martín Coulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Chaparro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Raphael in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rexino Valle in the 13th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amado Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Vicente Colas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Rexino Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Galeno. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Galeno should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Segovia in the 19th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Amado Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rexino Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Guillermo Chaparro made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Damaso Orlin sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Rexino Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Eutropio. Amado Galeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rexino Valle went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Natanael Segovia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Damaso Orlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Chaparro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Raphael struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Guillermo Chaparro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Raphael made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodemo Oliva came free, but Amado Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Orlin in the 61st minute of play forced SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Guillermo Chaparro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sergio Floto came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SICARIOS Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Floto couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Rexino Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Orlin came free, but Guillermo Chaparro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Rexino Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, SICARIOS Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Varas to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Orlin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guillermo Chaparro. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Damian Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Damian Raphael. Amado Galeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricart Lauwerens in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Ricart Lauwerens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Amado Galeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SICARIOS Fútbol Club booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded SICARIOS Fútbol Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
