Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Clark Lindsey kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Primitivo Gallardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. In the 4th minute, Primitivo Gallardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Emmanuel Akers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Marcelo Quijada got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute Douglas Ayala suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Dustin Thome charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dustin Thome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. GuateFortín's Elias Talia was substituted for Douglas Ayala. Jonah Peck was a little too slow when Marcelo Quijada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 25th minute, El Canalla de Chicago's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patricio Alvarado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, El Canalla de Chicago's Jonah Peck got control of the ball when Carmelo Sandoval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonah Peck made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Patricio Alvarado sent off a good shot on target. GuateFortín were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after El Canalla de Chicago's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredo Hinguanzo took the corner. Carmelo Sandoval hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, James Uribe managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but James Uribe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Alvarado. Clark Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fidel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Clark Lindsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clark Lindsey was the one to do the kick off. Jonah Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Moreno in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Bonilla to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clark Lindsey got free with Fidel Santana in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Talia charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Talia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dustin Thome got free with Fidel Santana in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GuateFortín made a substitution. Humberto Ancheta replaced Carmelo Sandoval. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Canalla de Chicago's Craig Rhoades was substituted for James Uribe. After 72 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Oporto. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Clark Lindsey took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fidel Santana to make any attempt to save it. After 76 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Henriquez. Primitivo Gallardo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GuateFortín! GuateFortín's Fidel Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Fidel Santana got control of the ball when Craig Rhoades tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Bonilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolph Thurman in the 94th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Fidel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Oporto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded El Canalla de Chicago left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GuateFortín.
