Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th minute, Efrain Elija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Efrain Elija got a free kick in the 8th minute. Waldo Hills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sedeni in the 12th minute of play. The tension between the Vikingos FC and the Atlético Patoruzu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Atlético Patoruzu's Waldo Hills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Elija in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético Patoruzu defense, Efrain Elija kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldo Hills. The Atlético Patoruzu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldo Hills should have stopped the shot. The Atlético Patoruzu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vikingos FC were winning 0-2.

Gonzalo Argoitz's late challenge caught a Atlético Patoruzu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Argoitz helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Argoitz. Eleuterio Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Ackerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Connor Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Salvador Calvino hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, Atlético Patoruzu's Tyrell Cochran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Patoruzu reached it. Waldo Hills made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Elija in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Waldo Hills had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Elija. Waldo Hills acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Salvador Calvino. After a rather tough play, Atlético Patoruzu's Ruben Crandall got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Eleuterio Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoff Ackerman in the 82nd minute of play. Waldo Hills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Efrain Elija could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Waldo Hills however easily saved by the left post. Vikingos FC's Eleuterio Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curt Barrios in the 94th minute of play. The Vikingos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vikingos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
